We make our sauce by hand in small batches in the high Sierra mountains of California. The sauces are vegetarian and contain no high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, or artificial preservatives and sweeteners.
Our original sauce recipe was developed for our competition ribs, pulled chicken, and pulled pork. It is a thin, vinegar based sauce, sometimes called a wet sauce, and is what our company is founded on. This sauce is lighter than your typical store brand sauce and can be used for anything your imagination comes up with. Sweet, spicy, tangy, and smokey is a combination that blends well with any type of food. Fish, poultry, pork, beef, salads, cocktails-the possibilities are endless.
Miller & Son BBQ Sauce Brewing Co. teamed up with Black Velvet Coffee of Mammoth Lakes, CA to bring you a sauce that features some of the best organic roasted coffee the world has to offer. Our velvet sauce recipe combines the smooth, chocolatey aromas of small batch roasted coffee beans with sweet, smokey, and chili spice flavor. This rich sauce is best used for basting beef and chicken. It's not too heavy and is thick enough to use as a dipping sauce as well.
