Completion of Our 400 Gallon Offset Smoker

July 7, 2017 saw the inaugural run of our hand built offset smoker. We did our best to use only materials found around the resort and the Bishop salvage yard.  

The main smoke chamber was built in 1942 In Los Angeles and used as a water tank.  The firebox was some sort of oil tank... about a 1/2" thick. The firebox is not insulated as of right now.    Heats up and holds temperature pretty well.
